A TRIBUTE TO SIR DATO DR PETER MOONEY
On a quiet day, 27 April 2015…
He laid still before God
In a country he loved
A country called Malaysia
Where his ashes laid forever
On a quiet day….
His family and friends stood still
An illustrious life in reflection spill
A life he led in justice
Before God and community
Where his loved shared to those in need
On a quiet day…
As family and friends paid tribute
To this great man
A tear they fought hard to keep
As they recalled his words and deeds
“TO BE A SERVANT THAN A MASTER”
May his soul rest in peace!
Peter who died on 27th April 2015, was surrounded by immediate family members and close friends before his demise.
The Star in their 28th April 2015 periodical described Peter as “An Irishman, truly Malaysian”.
