The lawyers of the Catholic Lawyers’ Society of Kuala Lumpur (KL) took some time off their busy schedules to gather for a bowling event on 13th July 2024 at Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort graced by His Grace Archbishop Julian Leow.

The event was a success attended by mainly the Young Catholic Lawyers and few of the Senior Lawyers and some of their family members.

There was an element of competitiveness among the Lawyers to strike their bowling pins down. His Grace Archbishop Julian Leow amazed everyone with his bowling skills securing high scores. His Grace even graciously guided some of the young lawyers’ on the right technique to bowl.

There was no age discrimination between the players and one of the organising committee Ms.Christina Param segregated the lawyers into their respective groups with a mix of seniors and juniors where there was a total of 4 bowling alleys and four to five players per alley.

There was also a cordial moment shared between His Grace Archbishop Julian Leow and the Lawyers’ when they gathered for fellowship in between their bowling matches.

The President of the Catholic Lawyers’ Society of Kuala Lumpur (KL), Mr.Stan Cross was instrumental in putting this event together with the help of a young Catholic Lawyer Ms.Christina Param to make arrangements for this event and to rope more young Catholic Lawyers’ to join this event not to mention the tireless effort by the Secretary of the Society Ms.Xenia Lok.

All in all, this event was a huge success and the society hopes to organize more events of this nature in future apart from their usual annual activities to provide a platform for the Senior Lawyers’ of the Society to interact with the younger Lawyers’ in a more relaxed setting.

With the rich blessings brought onto the bowling event by His Grace Archbishop Julian Leow, the atmosphere was easygoing and fun and concluded with a photo session followed by a cosy fellowship with a delicious spread at the bowling venue.
